We operate as a private billing practice, and therefore charge a private fee for all consultations with the doctor, whether face-to-face or Telehealth. The fees may vary depending on the time and treatment required, and payment is expected at the time of the consultation.
You can claim the Medicare rebate for your consultation by making the payment at the time of the consultation. Our reception staff will be happy to submit the claim on your behalf, and Medicare will deposit the rebate into your bank account that is linked to your Medicare. Please note that the rebate may take up to 3 days to appear in your account, and it is not an instant process.
After-hours appointments
If you require after-hours appointments, please note that they will incur higher fees. After-hours appointments are available between 7.30 am and 8 am from Monday to Friday, between 1pm and 4pm on Saturdays, and all day on public holidays. It is important to know that the Medicare rebate is also increased for after-hours appointments, and the gap fee is usually similar to standard appointment fees.
If you do not hold a Medicare card and have private insurance, you will be provided with an invoice to submit your claim to your insurer. However, we cannot guarantee that you are insured for GP visits, as every policy has different terms and conditions. Please contact your insurer to find out your coverage and the rebate fee you are entitled to.

Most procedures will attract additional fees. There is also a cost for most vaccines provided from the practice. Please speak to the reception for further details.
Patients 12 years old and under will be bulk billed from Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm. Private billings will apply before 9am on weekdays, after 1pm on weekdays and weekends / public holiday including Saturday mornings.
We require 3 hours notice if you wish to cancel your appointment. Failure to inform us may incur a non attendance fee of $45. This fee does not attract a Medicare rebate. If you made an appointment and failed to arrive, this may incur a non attendance fee of $40.
In order to receive Medicare rebate for Telehealth consultation, it is a requirement that the patient has attended the medical centre in person in the 12 months prior.
Patients will be required to pay the full amount of the invoice on the day of consultation unless a letter from the insurance company with a claim number is provided.
